Dear Parents of 4C,
Students showed lots of kindness towards each other with our daily Secret Snowman exchange, partnerships in writing expository essays, contributing to Cookies for Courage, and supporting our winners of Principal's Pride. They explored fractions with Cuisenaire rods and earned their 3rd complete of stars during lunch for model behavior!

Students were risk-takers as they gave speeches for Class Representative; thinkers as they described the why behind our convention experiment with Ms. Williams; communicators as they presented their Book Reviews; perspective-takers during our Atrium exploration; collaborators while creating their tribe posters; inquirers as they discovered relationships among angles; and appreciative as we reflected upon what we're thankful for!

Action-packed week! Students were wonderful hosts when my parents visited our classroom on Friday. They wrote a script to present to them when they arrived, greeted them at the door with "The Power of the Handshake," created math games for them to play, and showed their best behavior! Mighty proud.
